Update on Snails Breeding!

In the last few months, we have tried to breed the Sulawesi orange snails and Assassins snails , and here's some of the baby snails' photos!

The New Revolution in Aquarium Filtration System!

Okeanos e-aquarium proudly introduce you the Bactercel System Rotor's series aquarium filter! Bactercel System Rotor's seires aquarium filter is an submersible bio filter that come with compact design, the filter rotates when connected to an aquarium air pump and efficiently collect waster materials of the aquarium, it has three layer of filtration material including sponge, rock and a layer of compressed wire sponge, all are removable for cleaning.

Bactercel System Rotor's series aquarium filter is a product made in Japan, it come in two size, the smaller version "Rotor S" is suitable for tank below 39 cm while the "Rotor M" is suitable for tank between 39 cm to 60 cm.

Set Up Procedure:

1) The Rotor System will look like this once remove from the box, there are no other accessory in the box.

2) Remove the air stone which is located at the back of the system, put it aside first as it will only be use later.

3) Remove the black joint stick which connect the rotation wheel and the main body. To remove the black joint stick, gently squeeze the end of the joint stick and push it from the back to remove it.

4) After removing the joint stick, you can easily remove the rotation wheel. The rotation wheel itself can also be open to clean the sponge inside. The sponge can be replace by other sponge too.

5) Next, separate the main body to put in the air stone mentioned earlier.

6) The main body will look like the picture below after separation.

7) Put in the air stone and combine all the parts back. Lastly, connect the Rotor system to an air pump.

Our Discus and Angel fish's outdoor tank!

We would like to share some pictures and video of our angelfish tank with all of you! Angelfish are fascinating fish and they will come to greet you in front of the glass once they recognized you! They require large tank to thrive and variety of diet to ensure healthy growth! We feed them the Sinkable Discuss Food as staple diet and occasionally tubifex worm and water flea.

Okeanos E-aquarium Exhibition in Pacific Megamall,Penang!

Okeanos E-aquarium will participate in an exhibition at Megamall, Penang this 8th of June! There will be various booths and events such as Colouring Contest and Talk Show, come join the fun at Megamall at Seberang Perai, Penang!

We will exhibits various kinds of snails including Nerite snails, trumpet snails, apple snails, red ramshorn snails, Sulawesi orange snails and more! There will also be AWESOME offers for our Marimo product that day, come visit us!

Last but not least, we will launch a new Marimo design that day, the Merry Marimo Set! This new design comes with a unique glass bottle, two Nano Marimo and mixed colour sand (white and red) that brings out the joy during a festival or special occasions!
